Today I have learnt how to make nutrient agar and mea agar and I have been researching plasmids and ecoli for my projects.

Everyone who starts in the lab can run the dog testes practical as a first chance to practice gel electrophoresis. Just remember to think through the process with this practical so you understand what you’re doing, as it will help you understand the science (see my recent post).
